❝Shh, darling. Schlaf gut,❞ she whispered as she fixed the blanket around the younger woman, watching her sleep for a moment. She looked so peaceful, so sweet, as innocent as a child — who would dare to hurt such beauty? Elsa took a deep breath before she stood up and walked around the cozy bed to settle her body next to Cordelia’s. She would not take off her woodened legs tonight; she never did when somebody was around, no matter how uncomfortable it was. Although she was aware of the fact that this young lady would never judge her if she knew about Mars’ past. As she had laid down beside her, Elsa shut her eyes slowly. It took her a moment to think, but eventually, she fell asleep as well, her head tilted towards Cordelia’s.

[ ❀ ] Cordelia woke up at sunrise, her hangover not bothering her much. She saw Elsa next to her„ sleeping peacefully. She looked so graceful, her glamour never disappearing— not even when she slept. She smiled and then covered the woman so she wouldn’t be cold, then sighed. ❝ Sleep well, mother. ❞ she whispered, leaving the tent and then going to her small tent, shared with the conjoined twins— she had offered them a place until they found their own.. She changed clothes and then started running through the place, wanting to practice her part of the show as soon as her mind was clear.

When Elsa woke up, she surely expected the trapezist to be lying next to her. Realizing that she was not caused her to frown slightly. She had hoped that Cordelia would wake her up in the morning, but she obviously left when the singer was still asleep. She stood up slowly and changed, before putting on her sun glasses and leaving her large tent. What was she searching for? Mars did not even know herself – so she just walked around the area, greeting some of her monsters with a quiet Good morning.
