“The pleasure is all mine, Sam,” the blonde returned softly with a polite nod of her head. A warm smile adorned her expression as she placed her dainty hand on top of the clown’s. “So, you are the one who has taken care of my maestro so very well?”
In truth, Edward had not a single friend in his lifetime. None who had missed him, when he had passed. None who had thought highly of him. In recent years, he had found himself overwhelmingly wealthy in that regard, more than he had ever dreamed. Now, as those two interacted, he could hardly hold in his smile. “Strange, that it would take so long for you two to cross paths. In a single night, the pair of you changed my outlook entire. I was no longer so unhappy. Yes, dear one. He has taken very good care of me. I know what it is now to have a family, and he has been immeasurable great help in our work.”
Sam’s smile didn’t fade as he took her hand more fully in a friendly shake, careful to keep his enthusiasm in check. She was considerably smaller than he was, and he knew it wouldn’t exactly be fun to have a large, clumsy, clown such as himself accidentally break your wrist. Edward answered before he could, and he shook his head in response. “Oh gosh, you don’t need me to take that much care of you,” he replied teasingly. “I mean…sometimes, you can be a bit of a handful, but not always.” He turned to Elsa as his friend spoke of family, his expression welcoming and curious. “You’ll like it with us. I promise. We only look big and bad.”
“Oh, I’m sure I’ll like it with you. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly, Sam. I appreciate it.” The blonde squeezed his hand gently and offered him a soft smile at his words. She had never expected death to be like this. No lost souls, no tears, but people who treated her like a long lost friend. There was no single reason to be scared or sad – in fact, being around her new family was better than life, being surrounded by people who wanted her to be dead. Slowly, Elsa let go of the clown’s hand turned to the one who even brought them together; Edward. She could have listened to their conversation, their stories, for hours, and longed to hear more. “None of you looks big and bad. When I look at the both of you, I see kindness and warmth. Purity, even. I know how prejudiced people are.”
I'm German too, so I don't use a translator to make Elsa babble in her native language. As it's MY first language too, I'd like to apologize for the silly English mistakes I make.

Oh, and, whenever you see this silly cupcake down there, you'll know that the mun's talking, not Elsa.
That's it, I guess. I hope you haven't expected something special here. You're awesome.
