Moving slowly towards her sister, Elsa eyed her body carefully, before her gaze got stuck on the other woman’s eyes. “Nothing is it. It doesn’t look like nothing.” Elsa took a deep breath and shook her head, as if talking to a stubborn child who would not eat the vegetables. The singer sat down next to Fiona and raised her hand to place it gently on the other’s forehead, furrowing her eyebrows as she felt its warmth. “You’re burning — and you call it nothing?”

Oh, for Christ’s sake,” Fiona muttered, swatting her sister’s hand away with more than a hint of irritation, “I’m fine. I told you—it’s hot outside, I must be… dehydrated, or something.” Or something. She swallowed hard against a vague wave of nausea and took another sip of water before dipping her fingers into the glass and dabbing the cool liquid against her throat and cheeks. Something was not right here—and it had been going on far longer than she cared to admit. Her magic was slipping out of her control at an alarming rate; though she had not made much use of it since seeking refuge here, she could feel it just the same. “I should… lie down.”

As Fiona swatted her hand away, Elsa pulled back and furrowed her eyebrows. Her older sister had always been a dead loss. Why did Mars even offer her help? Fiona would not agree anyway – and if she needed something, she would ask for it, of course. So, the younger woman stood up slowly and tugged on her own dress as she gazed down at her sister. “Lie down then. You look like Scheisse”. Elsa pursed her lips slightly and patted the mattress gently, silently motioning Fiona to lie back, before she bent over to fix the soft cushion. The both of them never had the best relationship, but if Elsa said that did not care, she would be lying. “I’m going to get you another glass of water. Or a bottle, mh.”
