“Mou—” Edward paused to give her an odd look, before following her gaze. There were two white mice, scurrying past. “Mice, Fräulein. Mice, not mouses.”
“Mouses, mice, it’s the same.” An annoyed sigh passed her lips as she rubbed her forehead and gazed down at the floor. In her fear, she had to climb on top of a chair and now, wearing her highest heels, she could not get off of it. “Love, would you–?”
I'm German too, so I don't use a translator to make Elsa babble in her native language. As it's MY first language too, I'd like to apologize for the silly English mistakes I make.
