The feeling of his breath against her ear caused her to shiver softly, but still, she smiled. Her eyes fell shut as Elsa heard his words. She had never felt like this before. Loved, wanted, respected. “You are treating me like a goddess, maestro, every single day. You make me feel your love.” The chanteuse stroked Edward’s shoulder gently and pressed a soft kiss to his ear as she continued to sing quietly. “The power of youth is on my mind. Sunsets, small town, I’m out of time. Will you still love me when I shine, from words, but not from beauty?”
“And is that not how a man ought to treat the woman he loves?” But the conversation fell away when she began to sing. Her voice, afterall, had brought them together. Her voice bound them. Although he was a composer and often preferred the piano or the violin, he too could sing if he so wished. His voice was soft, tentative as he carried on a song of his own, a duet of sorts with her.
”Fragile — she doesn’t see her beauty ; she tries to get away.” A finger longingly curled a lock of her blonde hair around itself. “Sometimes — it’s just that nothing seems worth saving… I can’t watch her slip away.”
The simple sound of his soft voice caused Elsa to shiver. She had heard so many things, voices, songs, melodies, but this – was something she found utterly touching. Their voices matched perfectly together and the result was a beautiful duet of two different songs, sung by two people who loved each other dearly. The blonde gazed up at him when she heard Edward’s quiet singing and, to encourage him, she smiled and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, before she continued.
”Feet, don’t fail me now, take me to the finish line. Oh, my heart, it breaks, every step that I take.“ Her hand brushed his cheek gently as their eyes met. Immediately, her dead heart began to flutter. ”But I’m hoping at the gates, they’ll tell me that your mine.“
I'm German too, so I don't use a translator to make Elsa babble in her native language. As it's MY first language too, I'd like to apologize for the silly English mistakes I make.

Oh, and, whenever you see this silly cupcake down there, you'll know that the mun's talking, not Elsa.
That's it, I guess. I hope you haven't expected something special here. You're awesome.
