“Are you sure?” he asked, looking at her, expression hopefully but undeniably marked with sadness. The sins of his past were not ones most would forgive, and he didn’t really want forgiveness anyway. Still, having someone listen to him was something he wouldn’t deny enjoying. “Bad things happened to me…it’s not a nice story. I’m not sure you’ll like it…people being cruel is never a nice story.”
“I am sure, Sam,” Elsa reassured with a small nod of her head. The sight of the enthusiastic clown being so sad and desperate nearly broke her heart. She knew too well what it felt like to suffer from people’s cruelty and it made her believe that there was a chance for her to understand what he had gone through. “I would like to hear it, but I’m not going to force you to tell me your story. The world can be a dark, cruel place, that’s right. You had your reasons, didn’t you? You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t.”
I'm German too, so I don't use a translator to make Elsa babble in her native language. As it's MY first language too, I'd like to apologize for the silly English mistakes I make.

Oh, and, whenever you see this silly cupcake down there, you'll know that the mun's talking, not Elsa.
That's it, I guess. I hope you haven't expected something special here. You're awesome.
